JAMES KWABENA ANG-NAYAA

James is the Managing Partner and Head of the Litigation Unit of the Firm. He has a broad range of combined experience as both an accountant and a lawyer, spanning over 20 years of industry exposure. His extensive experience includes managing various financial roles, including debt recovery, in both accounting and legal capacities. Throughout his career, James has held critical senior finance positions in various corporations, where he played a key role in financial strategy and management.

He was previously an associate at Kusi-Appiah and Associates, a law firm located in Community 11, Tema. James holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2016. He also holds a Master of Laws degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Ghana, a Master of Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, and an Executive Master of Business in Strategic Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

In addition to his legal and financial practice, James is a lecturer at the UPSA Law School in Accra, where he teaches Law of Taxation and Business Law courses. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.
