A-Z Lawyers and Associates
James is the Managing Partner and Head of the Litigation Unit of the Firm. He has a broad range of combined experience as both an accountant and a lawyer, spanning over 20 years of industry exposure. His extensive experience includes managing various financial roles, including debt recovery, in both accounting and legal capacities. Throughout his career, James has held critical senior finance positions in various corporations, where he played a key role in financial strategy and management.
He was previously an associate at Kusi-Appiah and Associates, a law firm located in Community 11, Tema. James holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2016. He also holds a Master of Laws degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Ghana, a Master of Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, and an Executive Master of Business in Strategic Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
In addition to his legal and financial practice, James is a lecturer at the UPSA Law School in Accra, where he teaches Law of Taxation and Business Law courses. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.

Albert is a partner of A-Z Lawyers and Associates. Albert also has extensive knowledge in various industries as an accountant and a lawyer spanning over two decades. He was called to the Ghana Bar in September 2016. After being called to the Ghana Bar, he worked as a pupil and an associate at the Law Temple. In August 2018, he joined A-Z Lawyers and Associates as a founding partner. Albert has held several managerial roles in finance, making him an expert in financial management and debt recovery. Having acted as head of legal at Graphic Communication Group Ltd, he gained practical solid knowledge and experience in Media law, Corporate Governance, Commercial law and Taxation. He has a track record of providing sound financial leadership and advice to businesses, taking calculated corporate risks and providing sound tax advisory services.
Albert holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and an MBA from the University of Ghana. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.

Kenneth is a partner in charge of A-Z Lawyers and Associates’ trade and investment, immigration and corporate practice. Kenneth has been called to the Ghana Bar. He has significant experience in Business Regulation and Compliance, Trade and Investment Law and the Technology Transfer Agreement (TTA) regulatory regime in Ghana. He has experience working as a lawyer in both government and corporate organizations in Ghana, including Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited and Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC). Kenneth has been a team member of delegations that have negotiated several Bilateral Investment Treaties on behalf of the Government of Ghana. He has also assisted and advised several companies that have invested in Ghana.
Kenneth has also taught several law courses at the UPSA Law School at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL. B) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Ghana.

Mustapha is an Associate of A-Z Lawyers and Associates. He has over 28 years of banking experience in regulation, supervision, and resolution of banks, specialised deposit-taking, microfinance, rural banking, finance, and leasing business.
Mustapha was called to the Ghana Bar in June 2022 and thereafter did his pupillage at the Graphic Communications Group Limited, Accra. In addition to his legal background, Mustapha is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying in 2010 with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). He is also a Chartered Banker, qualifying in 2002 with the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana (CIB Ghana).
Mustapha holds an LLM in Oil & Gas from the University of Ghana (2018), an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Ghana (2008), an LLB from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) (2014), and a B.A. in Economics & Sociology from the University of Ghana (1994).
In 2024, Mustapha joined A-Z Lawyers and Associates, bringing on board his extensive banking and finance experience.
Victoria is an associate of the Firm. She has seven (7) years experience as a legal practitioner, having previously worked with Sory@Law, a law firm based in Accra. Her areas of specialization are Minerals and Mining Law regulatory compliance, Construction law, Energy Law, Environmental Law, contracts, family practice, land law litigation, and legal research.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and an LLM in Environmental and Energy Law from the University of Bermingham. Victoria was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2018.
Yasmine is a graduate of the Ghana School of law and a member of the Ghana Bar. She holds an LLB degree from the University of Ghana and a proud old girl of Wesley Girls’ High School.
Yasmine has worked in various litigation heavy law offices and was involved with litigation, case research, and legal opinions in various fields ranging from land law, procedural practice, commercial transactions, labour and employment related issues and matrimonial cases. Yasmine currently works with esteemed Insurance Firm, Imperial General Assurance, heading their Legal Unit. Yasmine is has extensive experience in corporate practice and litigation. Yasmine is the Company Secretary for the American Leprosy Mission in Ghana.
As the Administrative Assistant of A-Z Lawyers and Associates, Diana plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the firm. With exceptional organisational skills and a strong commitment to efficiency, she provides vital administrative support to both the legal team and clients.
Diana is responsible for coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing client communications. She excels in handling confidential documents with discretion and ensures that office operations run smoothly.
