VICTORIA AWUNI

Victoria is an Associate of the Firm with over eight years’ experience in legal practice and a distinguished career that spans private practice and senior-level regulatory engagement. She previously worked with Sory@Law, a well-regarded Accra-based law firm, where she advised clients on complex commercial, compliance, and regulatory matters across multiple sectors. Her practice has been shaped by extensive involvement in legal and policy frameworks, giving her a sophisticated understanding of governance structures, statutory interpretation, and institutional regulatory processes.

She has strong expertise in Minerals and Mining regulatory compliance, Construction Law, Energy Law, Environmental Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Land litigation, and legal research. Victoria is particularly noted for her depth of knowledge in extractive-sector regulation and environmental governance, and for her ability to analyse intricate legal and regulatory issues with clarity and precision. Her professional work reflects a strategic, solutions-oriented approach informed by both technical legal training and high-level exposure to regulatory systems.

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and an LLM in Environmental and Energy Law from the University of Birmingham. She was called to the Ghana Bar in 2018.
